What is a Favicon?
Favicon is short for 'Favorites
Icon.' In Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.0 and above you can customize the Icon
that will appear next to your bookmarked website to be your own customized logo.
Hence, when people look at their bookmarks, they will be drawn to your web page because of
the custom logo next to your bookmark. In prior versions of Internet Explorer, this
option is not available. Currently, Netscape browsers do not support favicons.
