Bob Kaufman
President

Bob has 20 years experience as a management consultant, company founder, and venture capital investor. As a consultant with Bain & Company, he led cost reduction programs for leading pharmaceutical companies. As a partner in two different venture capital funds, Bob and his partners oversaw $50m of investments in successful healthcare ventures.

Bob has developed business plans for several of Alaska’s largest healthcare organizations. In all, he has consulted to over 30 Alaska businesses. He has founded two successful service companies of his own which—like Alaska Healthcare Partners—took advantage of proven new technologies to deliver customers better results at lower cost.

Bob graduated from Amherst College with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa.
